  • Bryan Hill's Blog: Summer '09 in Photos 27/87 'Highlands'

So we arrived at Westminster Highlands last night to find out they were not going to feed us. There is a total of 23 of us and 19 of us did not have dinner. After settling in to our huts(picture above), Jason and I got a fire started and Dave and Annemarie ran to a local store to get hot dogs, buns and fixin's. All in all we worked well together to feed the hungry and had some great fellowship around the camp fire. Our camp leaders lead us in song and a little devotional. Back to our so called hut, we were supposed to all be in lodges. Somehow they over booked the lodges. So the Gillis's and us took one for the team and are roughing it. No electric and a really rough enclosure they call a hut. I'll go ahead and get this off my chest and say may bed sucks and critters are sharing it with us. Mice and God knows what else. I'm done complaining. God Bless us on our adventure.

  • Wedding Blog at BloomeryWeddings.com: The Wedding Lens: Wedding Photo Albums From Guest Photos

For some time now, couples have put disposable cameras on their guests' tables, the guests would take photos, and leave the cameras behind.  Couples would develop the cameras and have candid photos and memories from their receptions.

Recently, fewer and fewer couples have been doing this, partly as a move to save expenses, and partly because so many guests are bringing higher quality digital cameras and giving photos to the couple on a CD.

Enter The Wedding Lens.  As they describe themselves:

The Wedding Lens allows you to create a customized online wedding album filled with photos from you and your guests. Everyone uploads their photos into one online album that is only accessible by you and your friends. From there, you can download and print whichever photos you like – regardless of who uploaded them to the album.

  • Factpile: Dinobots Vs Voltron

Amazingly, this is only the second time the Dinobots have appeared on the site. AS much as I liked them, I don’t think even with combined attacks that they could stop Voltron. Of course, if it was the individual lions against the Dinobots, I think that’s a different story. Who wins?
